The Technical Career Field (TCF) Trainee, Program Analyst (Informatics) position will report to the the Office of Health Informatics and supported by the Informatics and Data Analytics career field in the TCF program.
Responsible to improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of health care by integrating clinical and information processes necessary to achieve successful adoption and application of new technologies throughout the Department of Veterans Health Administration.
Include but not limited to: Evaluates, documents, prioritizes, and recognizes requirements for the improvement of the Organization. Improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of health care by integrating clinical and information processes to achieve successful adoption and application of new technologies. Provides communication channels to clinical and business teams to support deployment, sustainment, and optimization efforts.
Consults, advises and educates employees including management on how to make healthcare more effective and efficient. Operates to improves patient care, ensures patient safety, and meets the needs of providers through continuous evaluation, testing, and improvement of the system. Execute major projects that span the whole organization. Participates in clinical/administrative decision making for the hospital.
Provides relevant clinical and/or administrative data to identify, quantify and resolve organizational problems. Provides excellent customer service. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
