This position starts at a salary of $57,641.00 (GS-07, Step 1) to $91,664.00 (GS-09, Step 10). Typical duties of this assignment include: Serving as the VMF point of contact and provides guidance for fleet-related programs, to include but not limited to, vehicle maintenance service interval, fuel, toll road accounts and utilization, environmental and/or hazardous waste, uniform contracts, and Home to-Work (HtW). Implementing and reinforcing standard operating procedures, internal controls, metrics, and training that ensure standardization and regulatory compliance.
Planning, scheduling, and tracking preventive-maintenance, warranty, recall, and accident-repair action for assigned vehicles/assets. Assisting in conducting general inspections of all assigned vehicles and other fleet assets, and inspection of dispensers and fuel hoses. This position has an Individual Occupational Requirement.
Education: Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering, finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position. OR: Specialized Experience : Experience that demonstrated a knowledge of the transportation function(s) of the position to be filled. Background Investigation: U.S.
