The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) manages the day to day Aerial Port Squadron activities and serve as senior representative in lieu of unit commander. 1. As the senior ART, plans, organizes, and manages the day-to-do activities of the Aerial Port squadron. 2. Manages the day-to-day unit deployment and mobility programs for assigned UTCs and assists with planning for current and future taskings. 3.
Serves as single point of contact for day-to-day unit budget/financial issues and a unit resource advisor, develops, prepares, and executes annual squadron reserve personnel appropriations (RPA), operations and maintenance (O&M) budgets estimates and spending plans in accordance with prescribed procedures and regulations. 4.
Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities and advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. 5. Represents the unit at a variety of installation and functional capacities and also oversees various Aerial Port Squadron related support programs.
