As a Travel Business Analyst, you will serve as an expert designing and conducting comprehensive management studies and preparing solutions to especially broad and important management problems. Location of position: Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), Office of Shared Services Delivery, Office of Shared Program Operations, Travel & Transportation Service Center. As a Travel Business Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Gathers, evaluates and presents operational data and prepares Management Assistance reports, utilizing visual aids and informational material to support sound recommendations, and comprehensive proposals.
Provides technical direction, guidance and coordination for GSA Office of Travel, Transportation and Logistics, Office of Travel, Employee Relocation, and Transportation Services programs, policies and initiatives.
Develops strategy and defines impact on service levels, proposes and initiates changes to GSA Travel, Transportation and Logistics Management, Office of Travel, Employee Relocation and Transportation Services internal processes, methods, policies, handbooks and directives. Prepares presentations, briefings and other informational materials as necessary. Ensures organizational practices are consistent with GSA operational services levels, benchmarks and goals, etc.
Develops and implements Employee Relocation and Transportation Services Management strategies to promote maximum buying power and cost effectiveness of actions (e.g. gold standards/best practices, market share analysis, program improvements in value, quality of service delivery, etc.).
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates the actual or potential effectiveness of GSA Travel, Transportation and Logistic, Office of Travel Employee Relocation and Transportation Services programs to meet both the management goals and objectives and comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and policy requirements. Analyzes and evaluates Employee Relocation and Transportation Services operations to determine actual effectiveness and efficiencies of the national programs.
Serves as a focal point for liaison with customer agencies and vendors concerning various Employee Relocation and Transportation Services related program initiatives.
