The primary purpose of this position is to perform the full range of journeyman-level utility system operation, maintenance and repair duties, such as installing, repairing, and modifying water distribution, sewage collection, natural gas distribution systems, facility plumbing, and operating propane-air mix plant, along with ancillary systems and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Independently installs, modifies, repairs, and maintains a variety of new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems and equipment such as water/natural gas distribution systems and sewage collection. Assembles, installs and repairs pipes, fittings and fixtures of heating, water, fire sprinkler, and drainage systems, according to specifications and facility plumbing and life safety codes.
Follows established procedures to operate and maintain propane-air mix plant, including storage, production and distribution systems. Uses and maintains tools Utilizes safe work practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
