WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As an Administrative Officer, you will use your knowledge and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by: Assists the Director in directing administrative/business-related project management to assure measurable results to support achievement of the Bureau of Primary Health Care's mission and Division results.
As a back-up when the Division Director is not available, the incumbent has the responsibility of Division staff, financial resources, planning, execution, problem solving, delivery of outcomes, and integration/coordination with other Office and Bureau activities and initiatives. Assists the Division Director in setting management goals and objectives and achieving efficient, effective, and economical administration of BPHC activities.
The incumbent works closely with the Division Director to provide leadership and guidance regarding managing staff and personnel resources for the Division. The incumbent leads supervisory decisions (e.g., hiring, work assignments, performance ratings, awards, promotions, team building, training, and professional development).
Establishes and refines personnel priorities and activities to support Division operations, progress, and priorities, including activities that promote diversity and engagement of all employees of the Division.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
