This position is located in Response and Recovery, Response Directorate, Disaster Emergency Communication Division, Maynard MERS detachment. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading and managing a 24/7 operations center performing analysis and reporting of natural and man-made events requiring the review and reporting to senior leadership and employees.
What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve in the detachment's MERS Operations Center (MOC).
Typical assignments include: Being responsible for the supervision of rotating shift personnel who provide 24-hour-a-day emergency information, alerting, deployment planning, and coordination services Directing the work of ten Operations Specialists assigned to shifts covering 24-hour-a-day operations Preparing and monitoring movement plans and itineraries for the rapid deployment of equipment and personnel to disaster scenes.

Directing, scheduling, and monitoring the work of subordinates in accomplishing the mission and functions of the MERS Operations Center.
