Job Summary
This position serves as an Attorney-Adviser to a Member of the National Labor Relations Board. The Board is responsible for the adjudication of unfair labor practice cases and representation cases arising under the provisions of the National Labor Relations Act of 1935, as amended.
Key Responsibilities
As a Attorney-Adviser (Labor) (Counsel to Board Member), GS-0905-11, your typical work assignments may include: Analyzing cases or portions of cases for the purpose of drafting recommendations to their Assistant Chief Counsel, Deputy Chief Counsel, and/or the Board Member. Drafting Board decisions and Board Member opinions. Assisting Board Members in developing Board policies, regulations, and procedures. Performing special legal research assignments.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Education
This position has a basic education requirement listed under the Qualifications section of this announcement. You must meet all qualification requirements. All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
