Job Summary
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is seeking a Supervisory IT Specialist (INFOSEC) (Branch Chief) for its Enterprise Infrastructure & Microsoft Cloud Branch. As Branch Chief, you will lead enterprise infrastructure and cloud services, ensuring reliability, security, modernization, operational resilience, and COOP/DR readiness while managing technical staff, contractors, and major infrastructure and cloud initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
In this role as a Branch Chief - Enterprise Infrastructure and Microsoft Cloud Services, you will be responsible for: Overseeing enterprise infrastructure and Microsoft cloud services to ensure availability, reliability, security, performance, and operational resilience. Leading infrastructure and cloud modernization initiatives, including technology refresh, platform upgrades, cloud adoption, and migration activities.
Directing incident and problem management activities, including root-cause analyses and implementation of long-term corrective actions. Managing implementation of security controls, technical standards, and engineering practices across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. Coordinating COOP and Disaster Recovery planning, exercises, recovery validation, remediation tracking, and operational readiness activities.
Supervising technical staff and contractors while fostering a high-performing, collaborative, and accountable team environment. Planning and directing infrastructure and cloud service operations, lifecycle management, maintenance activities, and technology adoption efforts aligned with OIT objectives.
