Job Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number D2224P01 and is part of the PA 171st Air Refueling Wing, National Guard. INDEFINITE Position may lead to permanent assignment without further advertisement.
Key Responsibilities
As an EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0089-09, you will assist in the development and coordination of plans and procedures for implementation and execution of the Emergency Management Plan (IEMP 10-2). Assist in conducting initial/recurring training for functional areas of EM. Maintain Emergency Management response equipment, training resources, and supply inventories. Collaborate with on and off-base units and agencies, on EM programs, policies, and procedures.
Serve as a CBRN Response team member. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Education
Must have successfully completed technical military training school basic EM Apprentice course and the CBRN Responders Course. AFSC 3E9X1 Emergency Management Specialist. Administers MAJCOM and Installation Emergency Management Programs
