The Raymond G. Murphy Health Care System is recruiting for a File Supervisor located in the Health Administrative Service. The incumbent will serve as full-time Program Manager/Supervisor of the File Room Unit, which includes the paper file room, document imaging and importing, record retirements and archive duties.
Key Responsibilities
Duties include but not limited to: Plan and develop the patient information system, including developing operating methods and procedures covering all medical records functions. Run the medical record timeliness and delinquency reports. Analyze patient documents against regulatory requirements of the medical record. Prepare formal recommendations for promotions, reassignments, other status changes or recognition of outstanding performance for assigned employees.
Serve as a liaison with Human Resources Management Service concerning personnel related matters for employees. Return telephone calls to Veterans, their family members and/or representative, to perform service recovery and provide assistance. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
