Job Summary
THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a IT SPECIALIST (CUSTSPT), Position Description Number D2526P02 and is part of the PA Deputy Chief of Staff G6, National Guard. 1 or more Position(s) may be hired against this Announcement. INDEFINITE Position may lead to permanent assignment without further advertisement.
Key Responsibilities
As an IT Specialist (CUSTSPT), GS-2210-11, you will address problems; installs, configures, troubleshoots, and provide maintenance and training in response to customer requirements or inquiries (e.g., tiered-level customer support). Provide support and guidance on installing and operating personal computers, peripheral equipment, and associated software. Receive requests for resolution of hardware or software problems that may require in-depth research.
Update hardware and software architecture databases to reflect installations, turn-ins, and changes in reportable software. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Education
At the GS-11 level, a Ph.D. or equivalent, or 3 years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.
