This position serves as a IT Specialist (DATAMGT/INFOSEC) located in the Department of Justice, Chief Information Officer, Service Delivery Staff in Washington, DC. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the technical authority and developer for Enterprise Portfolio Management SharePoint sites and perform descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive data analytics of DOJ-OCIO IT Investment Management data and generate Power BI Dashboards and Reports.
The duties and responsibilities for a IT Specialist (DATAMGT/INFOSEC) GS-2210-13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Develops and implements automated SharePoint workflows and information-routing processes to improve the collection, review, approval, and management of IT portfolio and capital planning information.
Evaluates enterprise IT processes, procedures, investments, and project data to assess program performance, cost efficiency, technical progress, and alignment with organizational objectives. Develops risk mitigation strategies, technical recommendations, business cases, and resource requirements to address project deficiencies and support enterprise IT modernization initiatives.
Provides technical oversight and analytical support for IT contracts by evaluating vendor deliverables, technical documentation, software development activities, cloud modernization efforts, and procurement milestones against established requirements. Develops automated methods for tracking project performance, compliance requirements, security controls, milestones, and remediation activities across enterprise IT initiatives.
