The position leads and supports studies, data analysis, planning, performance measurement, and policy coordination to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of mission-support programs. This work supports CBP's mission by enabling informed leadership decisions and strengthening the planning, management, and delivery of facilities and asset-management services that support frontline operations.

This position is located within the Operational Support Facilities (OSF) Division, which oversees CBP's large, complex, and diverse frontline operations facilities for the Air and Marine Operations (AMO), the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP), and the Office of Field Operations (OFO).
As primary liaison to OFAM Business Partners, OSF executes its core business functions with the following overarching priorities: providing safe and secure facilities, leading major and minor construction planning and execution, and exercising stewardship through appropriate maintenance and operations and responding to unexpected operational emergencies.
In this Management and Program Analyst position you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals responsible for analyzing and evaluating administrative, staffing support of Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM) mission; assesses the implementation of organizational strategic plans, mission, vision, and values, ensuring that these are communicated and integrated into organizational goals, objectives, work products, and services.
Typical Work assignments include: Providing support and assistance to management staff in all matters relating to the application of planning systems and management programs to meet mission requirements. Performing analysis of management and program activities for a major segment of a department-wide mission or administrative program for matters of effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.
Reviewing policies in assigned program areas; takes or recommends actions to achieve organizational objectives; and recommends program objectives and improvements for the future. Advising and providing analytical support on problem definitions, planning methodologies, policies, and procedures.
