Job Summary
This vacancy is for a Management and Program Analyst in the Office of the Secretary within the Department of Commerce.
Key Responsibilities
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will: Review and analyze workflow and reporting system outputs. Develop unique custom systems or reconfigure existing ones to optimize data delivery. Evaluate operational data to track progress, performance, schedule compliance, and program objectives. Lead and maintain executive IT platforms. Direct the development and management of the briefing book, executive correspondence, and department-wide technology systems.
Evaluate existing administrative processes to advise on strategic improvements. Establish and lead task forces or working groups to design new initiatives or resolve systemic issues. Manage sensitive and critical initiatives, including long-range planning, data collection, performance evaluation, and executive briefing preparation. Develop targeted projects to meet organizational objectives.
Author strategies, policies, and implementation plans to maintain peak institutional performance.
