As a Supervisory Bank Examiner and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) Shared National Credit (SNC) Program Manager, you will lead the interagency SNC Program with the Federal Reserve Board (FRB) and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). You will serve on the Interagency SNC Committee, develop policies and procedures, coordinate initiatives, and ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
As a Supervisory National Bank Examiner/Bank Examiner serving as the OCC's Shared National Credit (SNC) Program Manager, you will: Establish objectives for each SNC review with Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and Federal Reserve Board (FRB) counterparts, including scope, areas of interest, sampling criteria, institution and loan selection, and schedules; analyze program results and recommend scope revisions as needed.
Monitor SNC examination progress and quality; lead interagency discussions on examination findings, emerging credit risks, and credit risk management; consolidate examination results and assess SNC credit risk and underwriting; develop policy recommendations; oversee communication of examination results and supervisory actions; escalate systemic risks and policy issues to Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) senior leadership; fulfill rotating lead-agency responsibilities; and monitor industry and market trends affecting SNC portfolios.
Administer the interagency SNC appeals and re-review processes with FDIC and FRB counterparts; lead or serve on appeal panels; ensure compliance with the SNC Interagency Agreement; establish operating procedures and quality controls for SNC information systems and databases; support interagency partners; and ensure appropriate responses to OCC SNC data requests.
Act as the primary liaison to OCC commercial credit leads, team leaders, and other business units on SNC matters; plan OCC activities, resources, examinations, and loan sampling for annual reviews; reallocate examiner resources as needed; lead SNC training development and delivery; serve as a technical advisor on complex credit matters; monitor industry practices and trends; and coordinate with OCC supervision, economics, credit policy, and regulatory staff.
Provide administrative and technical direction to SNC Program Office staff; lead, develop, and evaluate staff; plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and review work; establish performance expectations and address training and developmental needs; recommend and take personnel actions within delegated authority; resolve workplace concerns; provide advice and counsel; approve leave and travel requests; and promote a harassment-free workplace consistent with Equal Employment Opportunity and affirmative employment principles.
