The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System is recruiting for a Supervisory Program Specialist. The Supervisory Program Specialist will serve as the Domiciliary Operations Manager and will function in Social Work Service.
Duties of the Supervisory Program Specialist include but are not limited to: Performs general oversight and support services for the Chief, Mental Health Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Programs (MHRRTP) and staff to include organizing official visits, coordinating admissions of residents, managing and leading environment of care (EOC) rounds, coordinating equipment and supply needs of the facility and programs, and other duties as assigned.
Provides front level supervision, program support and administrative leadership in support of the MHRRTP and the facility goals. Identifies the developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training. Manages all aspects of the physical facility, to include safety, security, minor construction, and repairs in the domiciliary.
Oversees the daily operation of the unit, ensuring that agency policies and priorities are being followed. Analyzes and prepares program status reports and conducts MHRRTP audits/inspections, providing all findings directly to the MHRRTP Chief. Develops innovative approaches to address significant administrative challenges and oversees the planning of critical administrative management components within professional or scientific programs.
