Job Summary
As the Director for Payments, you will serve as an OCC senior manager for the supervision risk area(s). You will provide advanced technical expertise and broad organizational perspective, advice and support to the bank supervision functions across the OCC's supervision units. Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisory National Bank Examiner/Bank Examiner (Director for Payments), you will: Serve as an OCC Senior manager for the supervision risk area(s). Plan, organize, implement and direct activities associated with all aspects related to the supervision risk area(s). Supervise assigned staff and direct resources necessary to execute the division's programs. Provide authoritative technical leadership to OCC field supervision staff and officials.
Establish and communicate programs, objectives, and goals to ensure supervisory policies and division programs are achieving intended objectives, effective supervision of banks. Develop short- and long-term plans; establish priorities for the organization, provide planning and resource- management to ensure that OCC and CNBE goals and priorities are coordinated in making program decisions.
Represent the CNBE on the National Risk Committee and appropriate subcommittees, may serve as a chair of such committees, providing advice regarding industry practices, impact and interrelationships, and trends in the designated supervision risk area(s), and changes or enhancements to those practices. Lead, motivate, and develop a staff of employees.
Evaluate performance in accordance with OCC guidelines; recommend or make personnel decisions regarding hiring, promotions, adverse actions, etc., consistent with delegated authorities.
