Largest employers by worldwide headcount, with the year and source of every figure.

This page ranks the companies headquartered in each metro by their worldwide headcount, the figure printed in their Wikipedia infobox with the year of that figure. It is a list of the largest employers, not a rating of what it is like to work there: we do not use employee reviews from other sites. Headcount is global, so a company can employ only a small share of it in the city. Revenue is shown when the infobox gives it. Each city page adds local pay by occupation, rent and commuting from official statistics (BLS, Census Bureau).
