Key Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as a senior program analyst and advisor to USAF for matters of acquisition, modification, and sustainment of training systems and synthetic environments for multiple platforms. Subject Matter Expert (SME) for planning, organizing, testing, and determining the necessary policies, regulations, directives, doctrine, and procedures for major command program(s).

Analyzes, develops, and evaluates detailed plans, goals, and objectives for long-range implementation of programs. under multiple major commands. Serves as an Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) Test Director/ Integrated Test Team (ITT) Lead for assigned combat training systems and has oversight responsibility of all phases of acquisition and sustainment testing.

Serves as the Operational Test and Evaluation (OT&E) Test Director for assigned combat training systems and subsystems to include Simulator Certification (SIMCERT), Simulator Validation (SIMVAL) and synthetic environment certification. Leads execution of, chairs, and/or attends meetings/activities necessary to support training device acquisitions, modifications, and sustainment programs.

Actively participates in strategic planning to improve organizational direction and focus using strategic planning tools and techniques.
